Steller Jays live in dense coniferous (trees with cones) forests of North America. They are found most commonly at low to moderate elevations. Stellar Jays are omnivores and will eat a variety of seeds and fruits. They are also good scavengers and are typically seen (and heard) where campers scraps might be or in residential neighborhoods stealing pet food. These bold Jays are good at exploiting the resources available to them.
Blue jays bury acorns and seeds. Because they sometimes forget where they left the stash, oak forests have grown in the US where there were none before.
Blue jays have a reputation as nest raiders or bullies at the backyard feeder, but they are an effective warning system for the neighborhood. Blue jays can imitate the sound of hawks, especially the red shouldered hawk, so convincingly that smaller and slower birds have a chance to run for cover.
It is difficult, as all members of the Corvid group have little difference between the sexes, they appear identical.
Mostly raptors as large as golden eagles and northern eagle-owls.
In biology a niche is the organisms role in and ability to adapt to survive. A snails niche is to be food for animals and pests to humans.
The niche of an animal is all the conditions it can tolerate and where it lives. There are two types of niches. A broad and narrow niche. An animal that has a broad niche can tolerate more conditions rather than an animal that has a narrow niche. An example of an animal that has a broad niche is an opposum. An example of an animal that has a narrow niche is a panda bear. A frog generally tends to have a broad niche. It can live in areas that have little water sources to areas that have a vast region as water sources.
the ecological niche of a moose would be to eat grass
