Its not just 1 bunnie the mother isn't feeding its all of them and you only know that by checking if there stomachs are round and plump and if they arent take them out right then and there. You have to count how much bunnies you have each day if there with their mother because its sad to say she might eat them. And if the mother dosent feed them you can maybe go to a local petshop a petsmart or a petco and they should have somthing called KMR milk and that stands for Kitty Milk Replacer and you must keep the bunnies away from the mother and father after you feed them yourself they may not be put back in their parents cage. I hope I helped and good luck with your bunnies.
keep them in their den, but feed with pet feeding formulas if their still drinking that or grass if their big enough
Take the baby bunnies to the vet! You have to get them a proper formula from the vet that has nutrients in it. You can also go to an IFA of a Big R and look for bunnie formula.
you feed them the same flakes you are feeding the adults except you grind it into a fine powder.
yes you can touch baby newborn rabbits, i have when i cleaned the beddin but if you did want to be on the safe side then rub you hands in the fur that was used to make the nest before touchin the newborn rabbits Ya man
First and foremost...keep them warm! Get them to a vet or a resuce that handles rejected neonate kittens. If you are going to bottle raise them yourself...Get some KMR (kitten milk replacement) and get ready for feeding every 2 hours and learn how to stimulate them to go to the bathroom after every feeding.
Baby rabbits should open their eyes around day 11 or 12 after birth.
You can hold them as much as you like. If the puppies are being raised without their mother they are lacking the physical contact they would normally have with her. You will be replacing the mother so more is better.
If the doe has been lost (died) the best bet is to transfer the bunnies to another doe or find a breeder with experience tube feeding. Feeding newborns by bottle is problematic and often ends up with aspiration pneumonia.
no
Yes they are.
can new born baby bunnies have half and half
yes
NOTHING can or should replace Colostrum when feeding a newborn calf. You MUST feed a new baby calf colostrum within 24 hours after it is born. There is nothing man-made or similar than can replace colostrum.
