As a general rule, MOST Asian Martial Arts weapons are considered to be prohibited weapons. In some states, while the object itself may not be illegal, per se, it is the manner in which it is used or employed that would make it unlawful.

∙ 10y agoIn the US I know that they are illegal in California, New York, Indiana, Massachusetts and Kansas. Several other states may have similar laws.
In addition they are illegal in Canada, Germany, Switzerland Ireland and the UK.
