The maximum working hours per day for minors in the United States differs depending on the state in which the minor seeks employment. Federal Laws state that during non-school days, minors under 18 may work a maximum of 8 hours per day. During school days, minors may only work a maximum of 3 hours per day.
you can only work four hours. and you can only work after 3 and until 10. at least that's how it is where i live.
8 hours a day, 40 a week
As many as are available to be worked. Anything over 40 hours at one job requires overtime pay, but you can work as many hours as you're capable of working.
13 with certain restrictions.
This depends on age and location.
Children may begin working at the age of 14 in Illinois but must obtain a work permit. Children are not able to work during school hours and have a maximum limit on the number of hours they can work during the week depending on the time of year. They are also not allowed to work before 7 am or after 7 pm during the school year. They can work until 9 pm during the summer.
You can start working when you're 13 for a maximum of 40 hours per week.
40
Yes, but proper documentation must be evident. They cannot work as many hours as their adult co-workers.
It depends on age, "exceptions" (like if a teenager is working for a relative), and schooling schedule. For fourteen and fifteen year olds, on average you can work approx. three hours a day but a maximum of sixteen hours during school weeks. During non-school weeks you can work eight hours a day, and a maximum of 40 hours a week. For 16+17, you can work 20 hours a week during school weeks, and 48 hours during nonschool weeks.
the legal age for a person to get a job in Australia is 14, and even then the maximum your allowed to work in hours is 12. Although not every work place uses exactly those hours. If your only 12, you need to have your parental approvement etc. Not alot of place employ people this age, so maybe a family business or a place at your parents or realtives shop/store. This way they know you and how mature you are and repsonsible etc, so they don't have to think about your age.
This would be unfair on the child as he or she needs their sleep. 10 hours is too long and would not be allowed if it was paid work so why should it be allowed even if it is at home.
16
If you are under the age of 18 you are only allowed (legally) to work 5 hours a day.
