crankshaft bearing, timing belt tensioner. if sound is directly above oil pan internally(from listening directly below pan) on timing belt side...im not a Honda guy, heard it a couple times. change oil, dont beat it. rebuild. sounds like a valve/lifter tap on bottom of block which valvetrain tap/tick cant happen. if curios pull oilpan. check crank/rod bearing movement. if ure a car guy...u know what i mean. these tap/ticks can mean anything. id like to know how long since oil change, if ur hard on the car, timing belt/waterpump replacement. is this a knock or tick, tick or tap is common on higher mileage care from valvetrain. u may know or not, i dont know ure knowledge of vehicles. depending on mileage, replace timing belt. honestly....it could be a couple things. how many miles? do u beat ur car?(i tend to) regular maintence?
You can buy an additive to put into your oil to slow the leak. "Lucas" brand products has something for this I believe. If it is a bad leak you should remove the crankshaft pulley and take off the cover and see where the oil is coming from. You might have to replace your crankshaft seal (big job).
Check the thermostat, also see if steam is coming out of the exoust, if it is you have a blown head gasket.
It could be bad with out turning the light on.
The squeak is most likely coming from your upper or lower ball joints. Replace your worn ball joint(s) and that'll fix your problem.
Bad coil?
it could be coming from behind your timing cover, if so, it is the cam or crankshaft seals. it may also be an oil pan gasket.
The current Honda Accord remodel happened in 2008. However, production for the remodeled 2013 Honda Accord started on August 20, 2012 at their Ohio plant. The 2013 is coming out in September 2012.
If you ear it in the car it's probably your radio needs a noisse filter.???? WHERE IS IT COMING FROM?
I have a 91 accord that has a transmission problem. I replaced the resistors that were burnt in the transmission module and then the car would not start. Seems at the same time the fuel pump went out, so I replaced that and it worked fine for a week. Now both problems are back. The "sport" is coming on on the dash and the tranny stays in low gear, and now the car will not start again. I can only imagine the problems are related, but I don't know how. Any advise?? Having nightmares.
cv joint problem.
Bulb is blown or has been removed.
Can your pully holding alternater belt and ect. coming loose and belts coming off cause my Honda to jump timing ?
