Best Answer

The Flip camera produces H.264 format video which is ideal for posting on a website or directly to YouTube.

If you just want to store the videos on a DVD then the video files can be burnt onto the disc like any other file.

If you want to produce a DVD playable in a DVD player then you can drag your videos into iDVD add a menu and some text to create a DVD.

How do you transfer film from a video camera to a DVD?

Firstly, you should capture the film from the camera, WinDV and PowerDirector can both capture videos. Then edit your video files (such as edit out some scenes you don't want, etc.) with video editing software and then make your own DVD with some DVD authoring software. Maybe you should try MPEG Video Wizard DVD, which is capable of video editing and DVD authoring. But it cannot do the capture work.

What is the difference between a DVD camcorder and a MiniDV camcorder?

The difference between them is a dvd camcorder has a dvd drive where you put a dvd in and the video that you record will be burned to the dvd, MiniDV camcorders are cameras that burn the video that you took to a small tape. I personally like dvd camcorders because each video you take is in a separate file, as miniDV cameras are 1 giant video.

Dvd movie burned on CD using Nero 8 but cannot play on DVD players?

Coz you burned the movie on CD rather than on DVD disc, then when you play it on your DVD player, you could only hear the sound but couldn't get the video. You need to change the CD to DVD, and reburn the movie to a blank DVD disc, then there will be no problem for you to watch it on DVD player. More details in followed link
