Sure thing. That's possible.
A video burned to DVD can be played on MOST DVD players. But some older model DVD players can't read burned disks.Technology has come a long way since DVD players were introduced, so the majority of DVD players today can play burned media.
You need a video camera to make videos - Connect you video camera to your lHP Laptop - and if you have CD/DVD burning software installed on your HP Laptop, you could then burn your video onto a CD/DVD
Firstly, you should capture the film from the camera, WinDV and PowerDirector can both capture videos. Then edit your video files (such as edit out some scenes you don't want, etc.) with video editing software and then make your own DVD with some DVD authoring software. Maybe you should try MPEG Video Wizard DVD, which is capable of video editing and DVD authoring. But it cannot do the capture work.
Save file to a computer, then burn to DVD disk
The difference between them is a dvd camcorder has a dvd drive where you put a dvd in and the video that you record will be burned to the dvd, MiniDV camcorders are cameras that burn the video that you took to a small tape. I personally like dvd camcorders because each video you take is in a separate file, as miniDV cameras are 1 giant video.
It depends on what DVD burner you are using to make DVD. For example, if you use a DVD burner software to burn video to DVD, first you need to connect your mobile equipment such as your Mp3, mp4 or your digital camera to your computer to import the video files. That's not difficult.
Use your computer if it's got a burner. eD
Converting an old video onto a DVD isn't that hard nowadays. For instance, a person can purchase a device that will convert a VHS tape into a DVD or into a video file. It can then be uploaded onto a computer and burned to a disk with ease.
If you lost a DVD or mini DVD disk that came with your camera, you can just buy another disk, not camera.
Coz you burned the movie on CD rather than on DVD disc, then when you play it on your DVD player, you could only hear the sound but couldn't get the video. You need to change the CD to DVD, and reburn the movie to a blank DVD disc, then there will be no problem for you to watch it on DVD player. More details in followed link
