buy a new one or junkyard drop it in and start it up its got a paper spacer so make sure its there

Hi The 3.5L has a tapered shaft, you MUST use a balancer puller or you will damage the pulley. These pullers are under $30 bucks

Sounds like the switch broke (the one that directs the air valve) or disconnected somewhere along the shaft.
It is on the left front of engine. Points at the left front cam shaft. UNplug the wire , unscrew bolt, and pull sensor out.
