No. Most doctors recommend losing no more than 2-2.5 pounds a week... any more and you're stressing your body/causing it to go into starvation mode, if you're not exercising/just starving... You CAN lose that much... but I'd vote strongly against it...
If you try hard enough, exercise daily, and include a healthy diet, it's possible. However, everyone has a different body and everyone loses weight at different paces. It all depends on what your own body is like, but like I said, it is possible, it's just not going to be very easy.
