It is possible the rack could do this, but not too likely. More often than not on these little cars, the rear struts will cause this. The rear will wear out about 50% sooner than the front. Also, lift the car and check the main large bolts that attach the lower A-arms to the car body. These bolts have a safety plate with metal tabs bent over the bolts to prevent them from loosening, but it can happen (it did to me). If these bolts are loose, clean them good, and use locktite (thread-lock) when you reassemble them.
Fuel injector... At least that's why MY '96 Metro dies.. It's been fixed now of course and I've had no more problems
The steering racks do not interchange, you can not take a 1989-1994 MK2/3 rack and pinion and install it into a 1995-up MK5(and probably MK4). The Pinion is too short, in the wrong place, and if you want it to fit, bust out the die grinder, the welder, and related modification tools.
One could fly from a wide variety of states and countries from the Detroit Metro AIrport. The Detroit metro Airport operates mostly along the eastern coast of the United States.
Consumer reviews on metro stations can be found on metro station websites. Alternatively, one could call the metro station, or access the Internet and search for a particular station.
