Physical therapist assistants may also advance in non-clinical areas, like administrative positions. Technically no. There is no standardization for the use of that designation. Anyone can call themselves a psychotherapist. But... If you want to work an institutional or clinical setting, or if you want to be covered by some insurance plans, you will need at least a Masters in Psychology or and MSW. As well if you do not have adequate credentials, don't count on getting too many clients.
