Whats the value of a Joe Namath player of the century jersey by Jeff Hamilton?

User Avatar

Asked by Wiki User

The "Players of the Century" jerseys are knock-offs of the officially licensed "NFL Throwback" jerseys sold by Mitchell and Ness of Philadelphia. They are of a lower quality than the authentic jerseys but the cost about 1/10 what an M&N would. The word "value" is a bit of a misnomer. *DO NOT BUY ONE DOMESTICALLY OR OUTSIDE OF KOREA* over $20-40 USD. Anyone selling PotC as "authentic" with high price tags is either totally clueless or is a complete scammer and trying to rip you off. Also, do not purchase one with the NFL logo as owning one is technically copyright infringement. Hence, there is little or no memorabilia value to a PotC jersey. That said, they make new jerseys for some players you may not be able to find anywhere else, including from M&N (I have a bid out for a Jim McMahon Chicago PotC jersey right now on eBay--G'luck finding one of those *new* anywhere) and the quality of the jerseys is quite good when you consider that it only costs about $30-50 USD including shipping to get your hands on one.

What is a 293 topps dan marino 1989 card worth?

User Avatar

Asked by Wiki User

1989 Topps Dan Marino card number 293A 1989 Topps Dan Marino card number 293 has a book value of about $2.00 in near/mint -mint condition. Professionally graded cards will sell for more money than a non-graded card in the same condition. With the value of this card it will pay to have the card graded. It could double the value or more depending on the grade given. Condition is important.

Common flaws with Football cards include: rounded edges, creases, off centered, and faded color. Any or all flaws will devalue the card significantly

How much is a sergi federov rookie card worth?

User Avatar

Asked by Wiki User

These cards including Federico, sun din, jag ... etc. o pee chi rookie cards and also all the cards from 1988 where mass produced. This is because of the high value of the scarce cards from the 70's, making people interested in hockey cards.

Plus the Internet makes finding cards much easier. These cards don't have a chance to increase in value. I bought my Federico for $25, jag for $28, and sun din for $10 back in 1993. All these rookie cards dropped half in value.

Good news is: buy these cards for the cheap price they're at. wait 25 years, then sell them.

depending on the player the condition some card traders will offer a fair price between $100-$7500. i sold a few Wayne Gretzky's and Guy Lafleur's. But older cards like from the 60's and 70's in mint condition would sell for better ($11,000.00-80,000.00)

Why have sports cards value went down?

User Avatar

Asked by Wiki User

Technology is a big reason. Kids now would rather play a video game, pretending to be Ken Griffey Jr., than look at him on a piece of cardboard. There is not the demand for the cards as much as their used to be. Also the economy is not the greatest, and people dont have the extra money to spend on baseball cards.

Art has many cards that'll easily sell for over $100, but unfortunately, this isn't one of them.

You'd be lucky if you got more than 20 cents for it.

Hope that helps,

What would this type of football be worth with the team and vince lombardi signatures?

What is the value of a football autographed by Bart Starr and Ray Nitschke and the entire Packer team that played that season?

User Avatar

Asked by Wiki User

Footballs featuring the genuine autographs of the 60's-era Packers are highly sought by collectors. Presuming authenticity, values can range dramatically. Key factors are: the placement, size and clarity of the the star players' signatures (the bigger and bolder, the better), the type of ball (is it an "Official NFL" ball?), and the all-important overall condition of the ball and signatures. "Provenance" - the who, what, when and where of a signed ball's history, may also add value if documented. If genuine, your ball would be worth $500 to as much as $750, depending on all the aforementioned factors. An absolutely pristine official ball with Lombardi would be worth as much as as $1000. With autographs, a picture is truly worth the proverbial thousand words, and can save alotta time in the authentication, appraisal, and selling process.

Just an FYI, a couple weeks ago in a New York auction, a '62, '63, and '65 Packer team signed balls went over $2500 a piece. The '65 went highest at $2980. This ball will fetch much more considering it is the first year for the superbowl, in which Green Bay defeated Kansas City. Other than Lombardi, you have 9 other HOFer's on it. Once authenticated, this ball will be the needle in a haystack. Anything less than $10k would be crazy.

How much is a David Wright autographed name from jersey worth?

User Avatar

Asked by Wiki User

A David Wright autographed baseball card is worth between $15.-$20. Prices may vary based on condition, and the type of authenticity that accompanies the signature. Signatures that have not been authenticated could sell at half the market value or less.

In general, collectors of baseball cards would rather have a baseball card without the signature. The signature would be considered as a flaw in the condition of the card and will lower the value. An inexpensive card will benefit, but if the value grows in the future it will be held back by the growth of the value of the signature
