Footballs are not really made of pigskins. NFL footballs are made of cowhide. College teams use leather as well. Children that are 6-8 years old use rubber. Kids 13 years of age or older use leather.
L.P. Smock, a player at Princeton University, designed the first official football uniform in 1877. The uniform consisted of a canvas jacket, black knee pants, stockings and a jersey. The modern football jersey, with numbers on the front and back to indicate each player, did not come into practice until the first half of the 20th century.
Answer 1 This really seems like a strange question to be honest... however, first I take off my cowboy hat and glasses... these are very important first steps.. Before putting on the helmet make sure there is nothing in the helmet like a rattlesnake or an opossum. Lift the face shield and it is also a good idea to make sure the helmet strap is undone. raise the helmet slightly over your head and lower the helmet so as your head enters into the helmet safety... once the helmet is on...if you can not see then either open your eyes or turn the helmet around. Once helmet is on redo helmet strap so that it fits comfortably under your chin.. and lower face shield..
Authentic jerseys are made exactly like the ones the players wear, including sewn on numbers and names on the back (where applicable). Authentic jerseys are sold in numeric sizes.
Replicas are made of lower quality material and often feature numbers and names that are ironed on or silkscreened. Replicas are sold in small/medium/large/etc sizes instead of specific numbers.
Some other differences:
Authentics have longer shirt tails and are cut slightly thinner (the equivalent of an athletic cut). Replicas are a fuller cut with shorter shirt tails, since fans usually don't wear their jerseys tucked in.
Authentics have the Majestic M logo embroidered on the left sleeve. The replica I have has the full Majestic logo (M and the word Majestic below) ironed on to the right sleeve.
Authentics have an MLB logo on the back of the collar. Replicas do not.
Authentics have no size tag on the inside collar. The size is on the Authentic tag sewn on the lower left of the front shirttail. Replicas have the size on the inside collar, and there's a tag on the lower left of the front shirttail that says "replica."
Generally, replicas are just fine for the average fan.
Both footballs are the same length, but the college footballs are wider
for the sports and not the balls college football has more teams but nfl has more money
It is a warrior helmet and two spears that are crossing each other.
It removes the dirt on it. Dirt causes the gloves to not stick. Water works the same as spit, both help make gloves stickier.
Yes. Hockey players are tougher, so they don't need all that padding even though they are falling on ICE. Hockey pads are for blocking shots mostly with a little impact protection.
A football is shaped as a prolate spheroid. This shape was chosen 1) to help the players grip the ball better, and 2) to hep with passing the football. It is more aerodynamic than the pre-1934 footballs, which were larger with blunter ends. The smaller size and stretched out spheroid shape made the ball easier to grip and throw,
Aaron Gibson.
I was friends with him in high school. We went to Decatur Central High School together in Indianapolis, IN. And according to this wiki he was also the largest player in the NFL. I just knew he had the biggest helmet. We called him "The head". He's a great guy. Although sadly his mom passed a few years back, he had an injury, and dealt with cancer.

*Edit* You are actually incorrect, sir. The gloves Randy Moss wears are Cutters Receivers Gloves. His are bright red with white C-Tack (grip). They have the NFL Equipment Logo because Cutters are not a licensed brand of the NFL so they cannot have their Logo shown (therefore he has the all reds so the logo doesnt show).According to the official MLB rules, section 9, umpires are required to wear a uniform, but it does not describe what the uniform is. It is safe to assume that they all have to appear in the same clothing (hence uniform), and it cannot be deceptively similar to one of the teams' uniforms.
The assistant referee (or "linesman" as it is sometimes incorrectly called) wears a uniform shirt, shorts, and socks consistent with the referee. The AR also wears black shoes, sometimes with cleats or rubber grips on the sole. The AR will also have a flag, used for signalling when the ball is out of play and when an offside infraction, foul, or other misconduct has occurred. Most ARs will also wear a watch to keep a backup record of game time, red and yellow cards, a whistle, a notebook or score sheet, a pen, and a game coin (just as the Referee has all these things) so that he or she can take the Referee's place in the event of incapacitation. Finally, some professional leagues use a referee communication system, and so the AR will be equipped with this as well, if available.
the best one i think is oakley that's what i wear.there clear they don't scratch and yeah.
It is possible to have the number zero on a soccer jersey, but must be formatted so that there are two zeroes like this: 00. It just has to be different from other numbers, and it must not exceed two digits.
each team has their own balls...from what i've seen each team stamps the name on the side of them..the one I have is a ball from KC, that i got from a front office member at the game in the locker room.
