The Z34 has the 3.4 V6 which should get at least 17 mpg in the city and 26 Highway. If you are getting 10 mpg then you have a serious problem somewhere. I suggest you replace the plugs & plug wires, air filter, fuel filter, and make sure the tire pressure is set to OEM specs. Also purchase 2 cans of Seafoam or Techron fuel injector cleaner. Follow the directions and run both cans through 2 tanks of fuel. If none of this helps, then it is time to take it to a professional. You may have a clogged catalytic converter, which would account for the dismal mileage.
