How to control homosexuality?

Is there a cure for being black, or a cure for being Asian, or a cure for being white, or a cure for being human for that matter? The only day we all essentially 'stop' being gay, or black, or Asian, or white, or human, is the day we die and return to ashes. Till then, the best course of action for your troubles is to seek counseling (if it is needed) and learn how to deal with your humanity, just like the rest of us here on good ole' planet earth.

Acceptance is key, love is key, diversity is key! A sure cure for dealing with the struggles of realizing one is gay is to find a way to accept yourself, love yourself, and immerse yourself amongst the midst of diversity, experiencing all that humanity has to offer.

No, there is no cure for homosexuality because homosexuality is not a disorder or a sickness.

The American Psychiatric Association removed 'homosexuality' from its list of "mental disorders" in 1973 after an intense study was conducted on the causes of homosexuality. In addition an equally intense study on the lives and relationships of gay and lesbian persons as well as their mental health and welfare was formally conducted, both of which led to this determination.

Psychological disorders or lack thereof have no bearing on a persons sexual orientation, whether that be heterosexual or homosexual. Gay and Lesbian persons have the same chance at living normal and healthy lives as heterosexual persons do. The theory that 'homosexuality is caused by 'a domineering mother and an absent father' has been equally discredited!

In fact, homosexuals are just as equally likely to come from loving, caring 2 parent households as heterosexual individuals. However, since 52% of marriages in the United states result in divorce, according to the 'old argument' in regards to the cause of homosexuality, that would mean that all the children that are products of 'broken families' would eventually be homosexual! That is absolutely absurd, and statistically untrue. That would also mean that over half the population is homosexual, which is clearly not the case.

The truth is that regardless of whether one comes from a 2 parent or 1 parent household holds no bearing on one's sexual orientation. Since the beginning of time, among every culture, society, and race 10% of the human population is of a homosexual orientation. Furthermore, scientists have determined that Homosexuality is likely caused by a complex combination of hormone levels during prenatal development, as well as several genetic factors.

Although scientists are not clear on the exact causes of what determines one's sexual orientation, we do know one thing; that homosexuals have an equal chance at living normal and healthy lives as heterosexuals do.

The truth is, homosexuality is a natural part of humanity. It has always existed in creation since the beginning of time in every culture, every race, and every species for that matter!

The truth is that God had a hand in the creation of all of us, and we are all created different. Some were made male, some female, some black, some white, some Asian and others of Latin descent. God created some heterosexuals and others God created as homosexuals. We are all given different gifts and talents, and we all have a different hand to play at God's table, which we are all welcome at!
Any doctor can cure any diseases a gay guy may have... cold, flu, Back pain, ...
on the other hand, if you want to ask if one may cure someone from being gay, your question is totally insane: no one can be cured from something that is not a disease, isn't it?

Homosexuality is not a sickness. Trust me, tis not. Please talk to me about what's going on. because I think I know what situation you're in. You don't have to, but I think hope know I can help you out.

A gay person can be cured of many diseases, but not of incurable ones. Tinea is difficult to cure, but not impossible.

But if you are asking if gay people can be cured of being gay, the answer is that only illnesses can be cured, and since being gay is not an illness, there is nothing to cure.

There is no "cure" for homosexuality. It's not a disease, therefore you cannot cure it. The higher being, that you do or do not believe in, makes everyone different, and you don't get to choose you sexuality

You can't. People are born that way. Just as you can't choose to stop liking the opposite sex, you can't choose to stop liking the same sex.

It is impossible to eradicate an entire population of a certain sexual orientation. Homosexuals are no exception.

To be honest, I don't believe you can. No matter how many times you lock yourself in your room and whisper to yourself that one day, eventually, you'll stop having those types of feelings. I would encourage you to be who you are, but by you asking this question I don't think my encouragement would be helpful. Are you religious? If so, overcome it by being spiritual. (and when I say religious, I mean Christian.) I'm not a Christian myself but I've seen (few) people overcome homosexuality by finding God. Hope this helps :)
