Chameleons spend their entire life in the trees and very rarely venture onto the ground. They get their water by licking dew drops that form on the leaves at dawn or by drinking drops of rain water that form on leaves and branches.
Like many lizards, they need a certain amount of liquid to survive. Chameleons eat insects and some plants, but need additional water, which they drink in droplets, rather than from a bowl. They will lap up water sprayed onto clean leaves or other surfaces. In the wild, they drink rainwater and dew.
Frogs need water because they breathe partially through their skin, and water allows them to do that.
they still have gills to breath in water and when they grow bigger, they will learn how to breath without water and turn into a frog! I hope this helps. ^^
water ( i think !!! )
They shoot water off leaves with their tongues.
Bottled water that is purified would be best.
