I have found though experience that acne has so so many causes, to name a few:
-STRESS!!!
-Genetics
-Nutrition/Diet
-Exercise
-Dry Skin
-Chemical In the water
-Picking, touching of the face, resting your forehead on something
-Dehydration
Depending on age sometimes in your teens it can be a lot worse as you body is going though changes and maturing.
I have found that it takes extreme measures,
First get a routine going, don't over wash your face that can dry it out, wash your face no more than twice per day. Depending on where you live get a shower filter for the water, there is all kind of chemicals and garbage in the water nowadays, I notice in the winter when our town puts more junk in my skin gets worse. I use dove soap with 1/4 moisturizer and then use some natural oil free lotion with vitamin E.
Eat a balanced diet, become a nutrition freak, if something hasn't been on the earth for 10,000 years don't eat it, they put so many preservatives, chemicals and garbage in food nowadays.
I drink green tea for its antioxidants; there are lots of antioxidants so some research. Free radicals can build up from stress of all sorts and take over your system just like a disease.
Start getting physically active, it relives stress and so much more. Devoting a small amount of time in the gym, or your home gym, can make a world of difference to your overall health. Find a good quality routine, there are lots out there, just be careful of what magazines you look in. I even know of a guy who is giving away a free routine for short amount of time.
Don't roast yourself next summer or you will have bad skin all winter. Although exposure to sun can make your acne get better at first it has negative long-term effects, use lots of sunscreen.
Be careful what products or systems you use to wash or treat. Lots can over dry, think back years and years ago before they had a whole section of medicated acne washes and creams, was acne way worse back then? Look at a national geographic video of tribes people, they don't have modern medicated acne face wash and treatment systems, let alone a really good soap, do they all suffer from acne?? They must know something we don't or be doing something different. Hmmm maybe it's the food or modern day stress or what our society has become or believes.
Eat as natural as possible, clean and healthy.
Also with products I use, if I wouldn't feel safe eating it then I try not to put it on my skin, whatever goes on the skin absorbs into your system.
The first main cause is STRESS, working at eliminating stress is a habit that takes time, and stress is really a matter of perception, work on perceiving situation differently. Also do the fitness thing, spend time doing cardio, lifting weights, etc.
The main thing that causes it for me is focusing on it, its best to just forget you have it. You get what you focus on, the laws of attraction. Instead of focusing on it all the time and thinking " I have bad acne and I don't like the way it looks on me and I wish it would disappear", stop looking at it in the mirror, pretend it isn't even there, don't give it a second of your time. Although this sounds really lame, but believe me it's very powerful, every night before you go to bed and first thing in the morning imagine yourself having perfect skin, what you would look like and how you would feel. Just get a routine going, drink lots of water (not straight tap water!! use a filter and check with your local supply to see what chemicals they put in it and if the filter will work, even if you get bottled water some companies get the water from the local source :-( and declair it "spring water").
There is a lot of info, but this is enough to cure anyone, its mainly stress and chemicals in garbage food and water nowadays, have to go, don't think about it as complicated, just do all you can and then start perceiving yourself differently, not as some who has acne, but someone who doesn't have time for acne.
Neosporin. Trust me, best acne remedy. I had battled acne for two years before I could find anything that would work. Neosporin is not built for curing acne, but that's what it should be for. If you don't have time/money to get it (which it's only $1 to $3) toothpaste is also very curing. It may irratate your skin and doesn't work for everyone but it's definately worth a try.
You use products such as astringent, proactive etc. and clean every night
No.
oxytetracyclin
No
I think it's a NO ..
Old school treatment ... a cotton ball and witch hazel daily keeps pimples away.
Yes they both cure pimples as the lemon has antibacterial properties and it helps to lighten pimple marks. Papaya is well-known in combating pimple causing bacteria.
No. Wash your face with soap and water and put a cream on it if it feels dry. Pimples are caused by dirt/oil in the skin pores.
Nah I tried they cant be cured overnight but I do have a 10 tip list that may reduce zits and pimples by 60%
There is no sure "cure" but you can find products to control your problems. You can try over-the-counter products, but you might want to consult a dermatologist.
It may help in reducing pain as it penetrates the layer of infected skin.
If applied topicly yes, any alcohol can. But isopropyl works way better.
No.
