Getting music onto windows media player involves importing the music files. Connect the device with the music to the PC and select import on windows media player. One can also import a folder from a drive on the PC.
You have to find a legal website that allows you to copy and paste songs. When you right click the song make sure it is a music document, not a htm. After you copy it, paste it as a windows media player document. Then when you click on it, it should open as a windows media player. It will only play if it is a music document, NOT htm.
You can also use Microsoft media player. You can also use Microsoft media player to download music onto your i pod.
Get Windows Media and that helps you download any songs you want.
