mr clean magic eraser Another Answer: I found this out by total accident. Deep woods OFF, mosquito repellant will remove permanent marker off of anything, walls, plasticware, wood, paint, skin...try it.
== == Wood will be extremely hard because it is so pious... try using ethyl rubbing alcohol 70% on a cotton ball. Push hard. It may look like it ruined your table but walk away for 2 minutes and find out it didn't!! MAKE SURE YOU WASH OFF THE RUBBING ALCOHOL!
I fined that if you get some alcohol hand jell (the normal one works best not a perfumed or moisturising one) and apply where the permanent marker is and give it a scrub and then wipe it away with a cloth. i hope this helps
If the floor has a good sealant on it, you can try rubbing alcohol. Test in an out of the way corner first! If the wood is not sealed, alcohol will certainly help dissolve it, but may spread the stain deeper into the wood. A light sanding might be a better option.

Get magic eraser and rub on floor until gone. If you get permanent marker on granite, get nail polish remover and rub until gone. If you get permanent marker on your skin, get a magic eraser and rub.
There are many products available to remove permanent marker from wood without ruining the finish. One product that you can use is Pledge to clean the wood.
Well, one theory is that the chemicals contained in the whiteboard marker somehow reacts to the permanent marker, making it rub off, but it is not an excellent way to clean off permanent marker.

I have found nothing to get permanent marker off of anything. That is why it is called permanent. It stays.

I would try fingernail polish remover. That will take permanent marker off of almost anything.
