i had the same problem, i took a chisel and put a nick in the side of the nut and shocked it and it came lose, leter i talked to someone who did theirs and they talked to the Dodge mechanic, he said the right size wrench and a rubber mallet.
Its on the front of the engine. The pulley with the fan.
The water pump is the part that the radiator fan screws onto on the front of the engine.
Center front of the engine. The fan is screwed onto it.
Front of the engine, the fan screws onto it.
u will need a fan puller, find out what way the engin spinns an the fan will un-thred the same direction
That pulley is part of the water pump. The water pump has failed and needs replaced.
if you realy need to know this you shouldn't be doing the work. It is on the front of the engine, the fan screws to it.
Disconnect the battery. Using a clutch fan tool, hold the clutch to loosen and remove it. Remove the fan shroud. Drain the radiator. Remove the water pump belt, then the pump. Install the pump and reverse the process to finish the process.
What about it? Remove the fan shroud, remove the fan itself, unbolt the water pump.
Two special tools, a 36mm wrench and a holding tool.
That is the water pump pulley.
