Xbox 360 offers the ability to establish additional privileges to your account through the use of codes.
These codes can be redeemed from the menu for these privileges, be they an Xbox LIVE membership or additional downloadable content (DLC).
It should be noted that DLC requires, in addition to the code, an internet connection, however it may not required to have an Xbox LIVE membership.

∙ 11y agoIt wouldn't be possible to supply you with a code. There are so many people online who will gladly take a code before you can use it. If you're really looking for free membership, buy a game that includes a free trial or ask around in a forum.

If you're talking about the original Xbox, and its redeem codes - I'd assume not.

I think you do have to pay for the xbox live, however it will need to be by credit card on the official xbox site. but i do think that the codes are interchangable between original and 360. however you cannot directly use a xbox live 360 code on the original xbox, you will need to redeem it on the xbox 360.
