With practice a player creates a smaller aperture. The smaller vibrating aperture has a higher frequency. Pitch has no correlation to air speed. Allow the tongue to rise slightly to assist with the embouchure formation as you ascend.
I've been trying to hit high notes for a long time and have searched the internet for answers. I could sometimes get a G right above the staff, and with a lot of strain, an A. Just recently I changed my aperture from playing a little to the right of my mouth to placing the mouthpiece in the very center (it feels weird and will take some getting used to). Immediately, I hit a high C without much strain. After playing high notes for a while, it hurt my top lip because my lips weren't used to it. Make sure you practice and work up to the high notes so you don't hurt yourself.
(Different person) I also have trouble playing super high. For my All-State Jazz you need to play a double high F (an octave above the one on the top line of the staff.) It was really difficult for me, but if you get the air moving FAST enough, then you should be fine. Try saying the 'ee' sound when playing and move your gut in a little bit for each note higher you go. i hope this was helpful.
There are a couple of things that you can do to increase your range on Trumpet.
The first one is obviously practice. The more you play, the higher you will be able to play. What you need to practice are lip slurs, playing partials without tonguing or using your valves, and surprisingly playing in your basement range, anything below a middle C, and making those notes as fat as you possibly can.
The "Cheater method" is to go out and buy a mouthpiece with a really shallow cup. Vincent Marcinkawitz (pardon the spelling) and Jet-tone make mouthpieces that allow high notes to be hit with much greater ease.
Hope this helps

do american pie style on the trumpet....knock a banging fart out down the trumpet :)
It is possible to play a high G on the trumpet. You can play almost about any pitch on the trumpet if your lips are tight enough but they let air flow through.
No. A trumpet can only play one note at a time, while a chord by definition is made of at least three notes.

AIR, AIR, AIR + plenty of practice + set embouchure = high notes.
I imagine that you could if you have the notes for it. I personally do not know the notes to play it. You could just search the Internet for the trumpet notes to play it. Any song can be played on any instrument! This is the dubest question I have ever seen before! -schizophrenix1990
