Disconnect battery.
Starter is under car, on engine, by radiator.
Unbolt/remove the two wires that are bolted to starter.
Unbolt the two bolts securing starter and your done.
HUH? Starter solenoid is on the STARTER???

Follow the positive battery cable from the battery. It will lead you to the starter.

Remove the cables from the starter. Tape the end of the positive cable, so it will not spark. Remove the retaining bolts from the starter. Reverse the process to install the new starter.

Remove the positive cable from your 1992 Chevy Lumina battery. Remove the cables from the front of the starter. Remove the starter retaining bolts. Reverse the process to install your new starter.
