Do you mean from the toilet (as in you flushed it down)? Well, if this is what you mean, I'll tell you how. If it was recently and it's STILL in there, then ATTACK IT WITH THE PLUNGER!!! If this isn't what you mean, then I can't aswer that... but in terms of the other answer, if it's still in the toilet and it hasn't caused any problems, then either A) by some MIRACLE it managed to get past the toilet loop and is stuck in another spot, allowing the "logs" to get past, or B) the first one (A) did happen, but the toilet thing went down into the rest of the toilet system. I hope this helped!
Surface mount there should be small set screws on the underneath side of the bracket. Small screw driver or Allen wrench. Set in the wall, there should be screws at the back of it that secure it.

It would probably be best if you had the toilet paper holder was within arm's reach. Actually it should be within reach of your arm furthest from the tissue holder so you can pull with your closest arm and tear with the other.
When ever I used install a toilet roll holder on a job; I would 1 sit down on the toilet. 2 Reach over to the most convenient wall surface about next to my knee. Mark the wall and place the toilet roll holder in that position. I have never had a complaint.
Depending on what style of toilet paper holder you are looking for, there are a variety of brands which offer a wide range of toilet paper holders -- whether wall mounted or free standing floor models. Some brands include Maitland Smith, Rohl, Pegasus.
If you have the package please read the instructions. If not, then there is usually a plate with 4 screws and you screw it into the wall near the toilet. Then slip toilet paper over the aluminum roller and clip in. (You will see two holes or notches on each side (inside) of the plate.
Have an awkward bathroom layout that makes reaching the toilet paper when you need it most nearly impossible? Then consider a standing toilet paper holder. Unlike traditional wall-mounted toilet paper holders, standing toilet paper holders can be placed in the most ergonomic position for your space. Holders come in a variety of colors and finishes to suit your style, and many even have storage space for extra rolls - so your toilet paper will never be out of reach when you need it.

I would say within arms reach of the toilet. preferably on the right side. No. If the toilet is near the corner of the room, then the wall that the toilet ISNT laying against is the place for the toilet paper roll. I prefer not to put a toilet paper roll across from the toilet. It annoys me.... i say why don't you put the toilet paper in the bathroom that's were it belongs anyway
To maximize space, the wall mount holder can be mounted to a cabinet or a wall in any position. The quick release knob detaches with a light squeeze of the buttons when changing the roll.
