I have a 1996 Dodge Grand Caravan, and what I had to do was remove the plastic covers from the windshield pillars (they should just pull off). Then you should be able to pull up on the upper dash which is covering the speakers. You will probably need something to pry it up a little, then you can get in there with your hand and it should pop out with steady pressure. Start from one side of the dash and move toward the other side. There are probably 4-5 points where it is connected with snap in fittings. Mine took some effort, and I was worried I would hear a dreaded snap of something breaking but it never did. To get the dash fully out, you will have to disconnect the wire harness that plugs into the dash trouble lights. It is one of those "push the tab and pull" type. That's about it...
The strip with fins about 1" wide on top of dash is velcro pop it of and remove screws

You have to remove the vent & bezel assembly from below the radio first, then the entire dash bezel from around the instrument cluster & radio.

it takes about 6.5 hours round trip you need to remove the dash to remove the heater box

The body computer is the flasher on a 2000 Dodge Caravan. The body computer is mounted behind the under dash fuse box, under the dash on the driver side.
6X9 rear 5X7 door 5.25 dash
you get the speaker and smash the neon up then you are done OK !!
If the screw is coming down from the top, you will need to remove the dash and HVAC housing.
