The blower motor is located on the firewall on the passenger side. There are 6 bolts that must be removed to allow the blower to be pulled from the housing. Once the motor is removed you will remove the fan with by loosening the Allen screw. The motor can now be unplugged and ready for placing back into the blower housing. Re attach the blower wheel wet the assemly back into the housing and hold in positio0n iwth the 6 mounting screws you removed earlier. This is a very easy part replacement.

Remove the wiring harness from the 1996 Chevy Cavalier blower motor. Remove the blower motor retaining bolts. Remove the blower motor fan. Reverse the process to install the new blower motor.
