Remove both wheels, Disconect both tie rods from from steering knuckle, remove the stabilizer bar, unplug O2 sensor, diconnect the catalitic converter from exhaust manifold ( unscrew the catalitic converter and lower the whole assembly as one) this will gave you more room when sliding the rack and pinion out of the subframe), unplug and plug both Power Steering lines connected to the steering gear, remove the two bolts holding the rack and pinion to the subframe.
