This works on GM cars not sure about for Honda. Put your key into the ignition and turn it to the on position hit your gas pedal 3 times turn the car off and now start it. This may or may not be the way to reset it like I said this works on GM cars. Hope that helps.

This is the way Honda dealer showed it to me and worked ok:1. put key in2. turn key to ON position3. hold down the trip button4. continue to hold the trip button until maintenance msg.{Oil life %] start flashing5. hold the trip button again until the maintenance light disappears
Usually it is pre programmed for oil changes and routine maintenance.
