It is important to restring your clothesline once the rope starts wearing down. The weight of heavy wet clothing stretches out the rope over time. Make sure you have enough rope to go the entire length of the clothesline, and don't get your fingers caught in the rotaries while threading the line.

i heard this thing a few years ago where if you put a rock on your bed, tie some rope to it and lead it to somewhere in the woods dig down and sleep in the hole with the rope tired around your ankles you wake up in the bed. (it came back to me in a dream i just had)
