You cant transfer pictures, but if you want a picture from the internet ex. a picture from Google images or facebook. you go to browser then click the dotted button on the bottom of the phone and click save images, i have a blackberry storm 2 . so that's how it works on mine.
One way that I use I use Bluetooth. I send pics to my phone from my Laptop using Bluetooth. You have to set up discoverable phones and once up and running you just send it. Some phones connect to the usb sockets and you can download that way.
Run the Blackberry Desktop Software and click on pictures and from there use the export tab and it will transfer the pictures onto your computer to the designated file.
