I am an Anglican and it saddens me to tell you there are about 1.5 million Anglicans that belong to the Church of England today. This huge loss in membership since the 1960's, is not confined just to England but all over Europe. There is a strong probability that the Church of England is going to merge with the British Methodist Church sometime this year or next. The Methodist Church has also lost thousands of members over the years.
