Firstly you should know that you have 2 forms of cardio : high intensity cardio and low intensity, if you want to lose weight you will practice high intensity, High intensity cardio is simple to do, you don't need to plan anything in advance, just jump on a treadmill, running track, bicycle etc and perform intervals (2 minutes normal speed, 30 seconds sprinting, return to normal speed, repeat).
Believe me you will lose weight, after I can't tell you exactly how many you will lose because depend of the time you will spend to exercises, but don t forget that without a proper diet even if you practice your cardio you will lose anything !
Good luck :)

For weight loss I drink some coffee and do 30 min. first thing in the morning on an empty stomach. If I fell up to it I'll throw in a 15 min. in the evening. 30 min 3-4 times a week to maintain weight.
You have to burn 3500 calories to equal one pound of fat. That's about 3.5 hours at 75% of your maximum heart rate.
To lose weight you have to burn more calories than you consume. For example, running 3 miles will burn roughly 300 calories.
This depends on what type of cardio workout you are doing. Cardio is a form of workout which aids in strengthening your cardiac muscle. To lose your weight by doing cardio activities really do take a little longer than you directly target your muscle and do weight training. The myth about weight training among the women is they would gain big huge muscles, which is not true. We females do not have as much testosterone compared to a male. The female body builders take special food and supplements to gain such big muscles.
It depend on how much you workout.
You could lose a lot of weight in kickboxing cardio. Kickboxing cardio is a great way to burn a lot of calories because you are always moving around. It all depends on how hard you exert yourself.
Generic cardio is a workout that is very basic. This type of workout will be monotonous and wont do your body much good.
Generally, experts recommend that you alternate cardio workouts one day, and weight or strength training the next. However, if time is at a premium, spending four minutes on cardio and 6 minutes on weights will give you a good, balanced workout.
It depends on the workout, length of workout, how much you eat, and you own metabolism. It varies for everyone, but you can lose about 60 lb. if you do everything right.
Cardio and eat healthy! Sorry to say, but there's no other healthy alternatives. By exercising and eating right, you will lose weight AND be much healthier. Best of luck!
It depends on more than just the equipment you use. You can lose weight with any cardio/strength training routine. As with anything it's all in what you put into it.
Well in order to lose this much weight it is a good idea to start with cardio, for about a week, then do a mixture of weight lifting, and aerobics. And always keep a healthy diet.
If you are already working out with weights, and you are eating properly (i.e., not severely restricting your food intake) then you will not lose muscle; you will gain it. However, you might consider adding some cardio to your regular workout. Cardio exercise burns many more calories than weight training, although cardio does not strengthen and tone your muscles as much as weight training does. But do the cardio exercise BEFORE the weight training. I don't know why, but if you do the weight training first, you will be too tired to do the cardio. If you do the cardio first, you will be full of energy when you are done (as long as you don't overdo it) and you will have no problem doing the weight training. But keep in mind that muscle is more dense than fatty tissue, which means that muscle weighs more than fat. So, if you are gaining muscle by working out with weights, you most likely will not see a significant drop in your weight (unless you are significantly overweight), but you WILL see a significant drop in your body size. In other words, while the numbers on the scale may not go down dramatically, your clothing sizes WILL go down dramatically.
I depends on how intense the work out is if it is a light dance then you can't expect to lose much weight but something like Zumba would help a out lot.
It depends on many things like your weight, your diet as well as the activities you carry on to lose weight. No one can provide you an estimate of how much time it will take to lose weight. I will suggest you to join an gym near your home or office and workout with proper diet, it will surely get you started.
