I dont think that there is a law that says its "LEGAL" to runaway. Whatever it is that is so bad that you need to get away from, somebody, near you can help. Dont run out on yourself. If its abusive, then go to the authorities, if this is just a teen/parent battle, talk it out. There are guidance counselors, clergy,therapist, even trusted other adults in your family's circle that you can go to for help and advice. Running away is a tough life and there are predators out there looking for kids just like you to prey on. I bet you will hate that even more then for the reason you are wanting to run away. What's going on, post on my message board, maybe I can help with suggestions.
