Sodium or commonly known as salt is mostly contained in every day foods so therefore you are more than likely to get your 'dose'. Be more concerned that you don't add extra salt to foods that may already contain high amounts of salt. Salt is best taken if you need to take it at all in very,very tiny amounts. Hope this helps.
