There is the story of the Trojan war, an extended piratical raid from Greece looting Asia Minor and the islands.

We are not sure. The Iliad seems to reflect conditions in the 8th Century BCE, when it was actually composed and written down. We have no real evidence depicting warfare in the 12th Century BCE.
