There are two temp sensors on this car. Basically the have the same function,just for different parts of the engine. The one you need controls engine component Via the PCM(engine computer). It is located on the right side of the block around the top hose. Look for the two wire harness, for the sensor is sort of hidden. Remember there are two sensors, but i believe you need to upper one. Their are three sensors, one located just in front of the radiator middle front of engine and two on the exhaust header at the middle back of the motor. You can remove the sensors using a 22 MM socket or combo. Just unplug it anf screw it out.
