the line is a quick disconnect to operate your tool is to simply open it up place it on the line with the stems facing the connector and push in on the tool once the tool is fully seated keep pressure on the tool while pulling on the line to remove it. good luck

if you are asking about the cooling lines for the transmission that connect to the radiator, its easy. first disconnect the lines from the radiator (2 lines, usually on the bottom opposite the radiator outlet) then disconnect the lines from the transmission. remove the brackets holding them on, then remove.

It definatly has to come out the bottom. The best way to do it is to disconnect everything that connects the engine and transmission to the vehicle and drop the sub frame with the engine and tranny still intact.
