a doctor tried to tell me the same thing.....he said my babys not alive cause they couldn't see a active heart beat.I went home all upset waiting for my body to DO what THE doctors call it "abort the baby NATURALLY".THIS IS WHEN THEY SEE A SAC BUT NO HEART BEAT.COUPLE DAYS LATER I WAS BLEEDING AND CRAMPING SO I WENT IN THINKING I WAS MISCARRYING.WE DID A ULTRA SOUND AND THERE MY BABY WAS.ALIVE AS CAN BE HEART BEATING AWAY.DOCTORS CAN BE OFF BY TWO WEEKS SOME TIME AND DOCTORS TO ME ARNT ALWAYS THE SMARTEST PEOPLE.IM LEARNING THAT DOCTORS GUESS MORE THEN WHAT THEY KNOW.GO BY YOUR INSTINCT AND PRAY AND HOPE FOR THE BEST.IM SURE EVREY THING IS FINE.SOME BABYS GROW FASTER THEN OTHER AND DEVLOPE TO.SO JUST LIKE ME YOUR BABY IS PROBALLY DEVELOPING A LITTLE SLOWER AND LOOK AT IS AS GOD TAKING HIS TIME WITH YOUR BABY.YOU SHOULD FEEL SPEACIAL.HAVE YOUR DR CHECK YOUR HCG COUNT AND THEN AGAIN THREE DAYS LATER TO SEE IF YOUR LEVEL DOUBL IF THEY DO YOU HAVE NO WORRIES IF THEY DONT THEN REDUE THE STEPS AGAIN.IF THEY GO UP ALITTLE BUT DOSENT DOUBLE THEN WORRY.AS LONG AS YOUR #S DOUBLE YOUR PREGNANCY IS GOING GOOD SO FAR.THAT DOESNT MEAN YOU CANT MISCARRY BUT IT MEANS IF YOUR WORRY JUST BED REST ON YOUR OWN AND TAKE IT EASY UNTILL 20 WEEKS.THAT IS IF YOU WANT THIS BABY.DONT WAIT FOR A DR TO BED REST YOU DO IT CAUSE ITS BETTER SAFER THEN SORRY......GOOD LUCK
Always ask doctors exactly what do they mean, so you won't go home worrying about it. But I also had the doctor tell me once that I wasn't as far as I thought, & it was nothing I just got the date of my last period messed up.
The only way to be certain is by having a blood test hun. It is possible for the embryo to not show up in a ultrasound until you are 6-7 weeks into your pregnancy but because of your pregnancy symptoms vanishing, I would be concerned and suspect a miscarriage. See your doctor for a blood test.
Only a doctor can diagnose this with an ultrasound. The body will think you are pregnant but the ultrasound will show up an empty sac or nothing.
Don't guess, go see the doctor and have a ultrasound.
Majority of the time but a ultrasound is very accurately
No it is not. If you are worried speak to the staff and your doctor who told you to have one.
Wait a week and see if you get your period. If not, test again. If that one is negative and you still don't have your period, see a doctor for blood testing and an ultrasound. The only true way to see is an ultrasound!
Hello. I can understand how worrying this must be for you when the doctor doesn't see the foetus on a 5 week scan. But please dont be worried as this is perfectly normal. A fetus usually shows up on a ultrasound when your in your 6th week of pregnancy and sometimes the foetus doesn't become clear till your in your 7th week of pregnancy. I hope this has helped you some. Congratulations on your pregnancy.
If you start bleeding during early pregnancy, it is really important to go to your doctor or a local ER to have an ultrasound and a blood test.
The doctor can estimate about how many weeks along the pregnancy is through methods such as ultrasound, but he cannot say with 100% certainty what the exact date was.
The most common reason for ultrasound in early pregnancy is to determine how far along you are and figure out a due date. Later pregnancy ultrasounds are usually just routine to make sure everything is normal as the baby grows. Most commonly, a doctor will do a 20 week ultrasound where they will do all of their measurements and make sure everything is developing normally, and tell you the gender if you would like to know. After the 20 week ultrasound, unless you are having complications, it is unlikely that you will get another ultrasound until towards the end if the pregnancy.
You're probably about to die. Make a will and say your prayers.
Yes, it is very safe to have a ultrasound. Your known how your pregnancy is progressing via the ultrasound and you can also see your little one. Good luck but go for this ultrasound asap because pains need to be investigated.
