All state laws require vehicles to have rear view mirrors (the ones that mount to the interior windshield).
Everywhere! Look in the rearview mirror and both side mirrors, then turn your head and look to the left and right and behind to get the blind spots from the mirrors.
Yankee Candle makes both an auto spray and a rearview mirror hanger. They have many different scents to choose from and are not over powering. Also instead of hanging an air freshener on the rearview mirror you can tuck it under a seat.
A concave mirror can show both vitual and real images, a plane mirror can show virtual and so can a convex mirror. 0.0
Cars have always been the same regarding mirrors, check these out in order:- Electric mirrors, some switches on the drivers side should be able to control both of them- Newer manual mirrors, some inside rod you move makes the mirror move- Older manual mirrors, you directly move the mirror, by opening your window.
I have replaced both door mirrors by accessing bolts that hold them on by removing the inside knobs and door handles. All that comes off by removing screws in the door handles. Also you need a slim little wrench that takes the window crank off. The mirrors and that little wrench are available from AutoZone/Advance Auto. The rearview mirror glued onto the windshield attaches with a setscrew as I recall. Autopart stores carry everything you need.
Is it just one mirror? I would look at a possible broken wire or heating element on the mirror. If it is both, I would look at a possible bad switch since it affects both mirrors.
Auto parts stores sell mirror adhesive. It's very similar to superglue. The glass and the mirror mounting hardware must both be completely clean before attempting to attach the mirror.
If this is affecting both mirrors, then the switch is likely bad. There may be a problem with the drive mechanism. Remove and disassemble the mirror to locate the problem.
you will need two (or three) mirrors that you can easily carry or you would need a big heavy mirror and a small mirror that you can easily carry or you will need two heavy mirrors that you can stand bettween and see both of them at the same time.
Assuming that you had electric folding mirrors fitted to the car; put the driver's mirror adjuster into the central (neutral) position and push it down for a second, both mirrors should fold in. Repeating this will make the mirrors fold out.
Yes it can. Make sure first, that both surfaces are clean and de-greased by washing with a little lacquer thinner or similar.
It means your vision is obscured and could result in a ticket. And sunlight reflecting off of it can distract both the driver and drivers of other vehicles.
