I don't know all of the information about becomeing an American citizen, but I think i may have some useful information. YOu must pass a written exam, which includes information about the American flag, and American history. Then you must complete an interview with an Immigration official. They may ask you personal information or questions that were on the written test. Hope that helps and if you need additional information, you may want to refer to maven.English.Hawaii.edu/cest/1998/salazar/301.htm

Yes, as long as you are a U.S. citizen from birth. For example, if both of your parents are U.S. citizens and you are born while they are on vacation overseas, you are still a U.S. citizen from birth.
Many countries will allow you to have dual citizenship. However, the US does not grant that privilege. Unfortunately, under U.S. law, one can not become a citizen of another country without losing their American citizenship. If you become a citizen of Australia, you will then no longer be a U.S. citizen.
