Yes, if you talking resources Liberia is very rich with Oil, Dimaond, Goild, Iron ole, Rubber and etc. But Liberia's leaders still remians one of the poorest country in the world because of its leadership. The leaders of Liberia doesn't put their people first. They use the country's resources to build mansion and throws party of their own. Liberia has a billion dollar worth oil company but there's no leadership, because most government officials are corrupt just like every where else in the world.

No, it's North Africa's most rapidly developing nation, has great infrastructure, health care and living standards. It is also ranked very highly for low levels of corruption and distribution of welsh in Africa. It has good trading within the Mediterranean and good relations with Italy. So in a nutshell, it's not poor, but quite prosperous
