"Anything is possible," as they say, but it will next to impossible because the Haldex clutch uses a lot of electronics to change the torque split from front to rear. It wouldn't be so hard if it was a fixed split.
Converting a manual transmission to automatic transmission is not possible but you can replace a manual transmission to an automativ transmission . That is also an expensive deal.
Why the hell would you want to?
yes
Yes, by removing the manual transmission and installing an automatic. Unless you have a donor car this would be extremely expensive. My advice is that if you want an A/T sell the car you have and then buy one with an automatic.
Yes, you need to get a top loader transmission and linkage
I am assuming that this is the question, how do I convert a manual 540 to automatic? The answer is easy as I want to convert my automatic 540 to manual so we swap parts. philip@linkecu.com
You must be kidding!!! Sell this car and buy an automatic.
You sell the automatic and by one with a manual transmission. It's too expensive and too time consuming to swap them.
Yes, a 2004 Mazda 6 can be converted from an automatic transmission to a manual transmission. However, it is very time consuming and will cost a lot of money to do this.
Sure! But it would probably be cheaper to buy another car.
If the Prelude is an automatic, yes, you use automatic transmission fluid. If it's a manual, there's manual transmission fluid. As much as possible, purchase the manufacturer (Honda) branded transmission fluid.
The ECU for an automatic can be used in a manual transmission. However, it will not work vice-versa with the ECU from a manual transmission in an automatic.
