Slight problem with your question... There is no such thing as a 2002 Ford Probe :( last model year for the Ford probe = 1997.
If the installation is Windows, then it makes no difference, the OS will simply adapt the installation as long as it is a clean install from the install disk, however the drive can not simply be swapped out and booted, as some anti-piracy components of Windows will erase the installation, along with the fact that the drive will very likely not fit.
Changing an automatic to a manual transmission involves a lot of work. First, the brake pedal must be changed to a manual brake/clutch installation. Additionally, a separate bell housing, clutch mechanism, shifter and linkage are required.
For the 5-spd? Yes the '95 Isuzu tranny can be swapped with the newer 00+ Getrag tranny however the whole shift assembly, cables and transmission/clutch assembly must be swapped aswell. Also new transmission mounts have to be welded to mount the Getrag on the 95-99 engine. Check out J-body.org, there should be a few how-to's on that site.
Certainly. If the 89 originally had the same engine/transmission combo it should be a simple (relatively speaking) job.
yes, the manual transmission is the same in the 1993-1997 model and the 1998-present model. it is the Mazda M5OD-R1 transmission There are differences that you will need to fix: the '98 has an electronic speedometer sensor, the '93 had a gear drive cable. the tail housing and gear inside can be swapped. Also the hydraulic clutch fitting is slightly different so the slave cylinder needs to be swapped. easy fix. I know because I did it.
I believe that only 96-99 can be swapped 2000 and newer will not fit correctly.
The 1987 Chevy S 10 blazer five-speed standard transmission will bolt to the automatic transfer case. The transmission mounts will need to be swapped and the shifting linkage will be different.
no oil ports and water are the problem
Bronco II Eddie Baur Edition are Automatic Transmission..unless someone has swapped it after-market.
The VTEC system can not simply be hooked up. It is only found in certain Honda Engines. To install VTEC in a non-VTEC car the engine must be swapped in.
both transmissions came from 89-93 models of teg and civic models and both cable types. b16 transmissions are interchangable and should not encounter any problems when swapped. try to check the way you put the axle.. i experienced the same problem but in my case the axles seem to be longer. what happened was the axle bearings were put upside down. (i have the bearing with the sqaure housing at the bottom part of it)
Any Se,Base,GT of Anyyear from 92-97 will work. from what i am aware of.
