You need to have studied additional science along with core science and would need to have a grade c or above in order to be able to gain a level in Biology and chemistry, these are essential for medicine. <-- i made it make sense :P

3 As at A levels are pretty much standard in the UK these days.

In the US, it will require above a 3.5 to even get considered at med school.

High grades in chemistry, biology and physics, preferably also in maths and english. You will need to then get at least AAB at A-level with an A in chemistry, and many universities require or prefer biology in addition to this. The most important thing at GCSE is to get as many high grades as possible, and to subsequently carry this on into college/sixth form.

Top grades in Biology and Chemistry are essential. Universities are flexible regarding what other subjects you should opt for - just make sure you pick two (or three) traditional subjects like History, Geography, Maths, English, Physics, or a modern language.

you only need three a-levels and four as levels. Check uni prospectuses for what they want, as different unis require different things

You need to have A level chemistry and then Maths or Biology. Different unis require different grades for these A-levels so check with the uni you would like to go to.
