The Germans were suffering from depression, but theirs was much worse because they not only had to deal with their own fiscal shortages, but they also had to pay reparations over to their opponents in the first world war. Adolf Hitler rose to power. Taking advantage of the meek and submissive leaders of Europe, he proceeded to violate the treaty of Versailles in many ways. The main points were of the rebuilding of the army and the abeyance of the monetary reparation promised to Britain and France. Dealing with their own problems, and not wanting another war of the likes of WWI (these leaders lived through the first war when they were younger), they immediately submitted, a policy known as appeasement. Hitler, drunk with power, continued this mad escapade of his own decisions. He started to use his army, occupying countries as Austria, Hungary, Sudetenland, etc. He claimed he was bringing back the German population to its roots. Once again, the other world powers yielded to his conquest, not wanting another war. Hitler, insane with pride, and the populace, insane with pride, went on even FURTHER. He actually started fighting resisting peoples, conquering the other half of Czech. Finally, when he invaded Poland, it was ON! Britain and France finally declared war on him.
Keep in mind this started only the Western European theater of world war two. The Eastern European theater, the Asiatic Theater, and the Pacific theater all has its roots in different places, but all do connect with the economic shortages of the decade.
The British and French policy of appeasement towards Adolf Hitler and Nazi Germany gave Hitler the idea that he could keep on pushing Britain and France and they wouldn't start a war.
Hitler may have always wanted war as he was determined to 'make Getmany great' and to undo the Treaty of Versailles.
In 1935, conscription was introduced into Germany. This was against the terms of the Treaty of Versailles as the army was limited to 100 000 men. The rest of the world saw nothing wrong with this.
In 1936, Hitler militarised the Rhineland. This again was forbidden under the Treaty of Versailles. He was allowed to do this, or just not stopped, because the world's eyes were on the Italian invasion of Abyssinia. France now had the Maginot Line to defend themselves against an attack from Germany so they weren't too bothered and Britain said that Germany was 'just walking into her own backyard'.
1938 saw Germany's Anschluss with Austria; this was also not allowed by the treaty but the treaty was seen as too harsh by many and Hitler wanted to unite the German speakers. A votenin Austria saw 99% agreeing to Anschluss, although Nazis were reported to be lingering around ballot boxes. In the same year Hitler demanded the Sudetenland of Czechoslovakia; he got it.
By 1939, Britain and France were far more wary of the Nazis and were finally prepared to stand up to them. Czechoslovakia was invaded first. The USSR were reluctant to ally with Britain and France because they didn't stand up to Hitler. The USSR allied with Germany; this gave the Germans the green light to invade Poland on the 1st of September 1939. On the 3rd of September war was declared.
This question is vague. The actions of the World War two battles were done by air, sea and land with all the modern types of warfare of its day. There were invasions, pushing enemies back and destruction of the forces on both sides. There were civilian deaths were either intentional or unintentional. There were many actions (or battles) so I am including a link below that has a list of the battles in both theaters of the war.

I think it should be blamed on the bankers and multinational companies that financed and aided him in any way and also, on the people that voted for him. No matter how poor you are, there's no reason for fascism!
The Second World War started primarily due to the aggressive actions of Nazi Germany, led by Adolf Hitler. Germany's invasion of Poland in 1939 triggered the outbreak of the war, as it prompted Britain and France to declare war on Germany, escalating the conflict into a global scale.

Here is the main summary of why World War 2 happened from an article. World War Two began in September 1939 when Britain and France declared war on Germany following Germany's invasion of Poland. Although the outbreak of war was triggered by Germany's invasion of Poland, the causes of the war are more complex.
