Circumcision is a form of surgery, but as with any surgery, it still presents some major risks. The most common problems are infection, pain, and bleeding after the surgery. Other common complications after circumcision include decreased penile sensitivity and decreased pleasure during sex. Some men are dissatisfied with the appearance of their penises after circumcisions, and others complain that too much skin was removed, making masturbation difficult. Most of these complications are minor, but every year there are reports of major complications following circumcision. These rare complications include accidental damage or dis figuration to the penis. Also rare, multiple deaths occur every year following circumcision due to complications from anesthesia and bleeding. Another and possibly most serious effect of infant circumcision is the pain of the operation leading to post traumatic stress syndrome. this can have the affect of making serious and undesirable changes in a persons mind effecting the bond between mother and child to start and leading to problems including trust dealing with pain sentiment at having a body part amputated and more.

The best way to proceed with weighing the benefits and risks of circumcision is to do some research on your own first, then make an appointment to discuss the procedure at length with your doctor. Remember there are no benefit to your health and the performance of your penis WILL suffer as a result of this type of primitive mutilation

Male circumcision is no more then plain genital mutilation. There are no positive aspects about it. It is done to children because men don't have the inclination to have to deal with the pain.

Possible complications of circumcision include severe pain, prolonged bleeding, and infection. There are also a significant number of irreversible injuries to the penis due to surgical error during circumcision. Because circumcision has no known medical benefits and many possible complications, no major medical association recommends routine circumcision. Circumcision can have long lasting consequences relating to sexual function. Circumcision removes a normal part of the penis that functions to protect the glans of the penis. Removal of the foreskin can cause decreased sensitivity of the penis and decreased pleasure during sexual intercourse. This is yet another reason why circumcision is becoming increasingly uncommon.

There are no Pros unless the removal of the foreskin is done to treat an existing condition that is unable to be dealt with in any other way. it makes about as much sense as removing your nose because yo might one day get a pimple on it. the foreskin is an integral of the penis, protecting the sensitive glans as we as carrying between 20 000 and 100.000 nerve ends dedicated to the enjoyment of sex and masturbation. women also prefer the intact penis in both oral and sexual intercourse situations. as for hygiene no more time need be spent on cleaning the intact penis then the mutilated (circumcised) one.

Circumcision has numerous disadvantages. Removal of the foreskin will cause the glans (head) of the penis to become less sensitive over time. This results in less pleasure during sexual activity. The foreskin itself has a function to allow a natural gliding motion during sexual intercourse and masturbation. This function is removed with circumcision. There are also moral arguments against circumcision as it removes part of a child's genitals without his consent. Movements against genital mutilation have grown over the past two decades. Female circumcision, the removal of the labia and clitoris, were once common in parts of Africa, and male circumcision, the removal of the foreskin of the penis, was once common in the United States, Canada, and Australia. The one advantage of circumcision is that the man will not have to retract the foreskin when washing the penis in the bath or shower. Just as boys are taught to wash behind their ears and between their butt cheeks, they should be told to wash the head of their penis. However, this is not an issue with young boys as the foreskin remains closed over the penis head during infancy and early childhood. Once the foreskin can be retracted, it should be washed like any other part of the body. Medical studies have shown that there are no medical reason for circumcision. Circumcision, like all surgical procedures, has a risk of complications and adverse events that include bleeding, infection, surgical error, injury to the penis, and adverse reactions to anesthesia.

Circumcision has no known medical benefit, and no major medical association recommends routine circumcision. It was once argued that uncircumcised penises are hard to clean, but this is far from the truth. Young boys can just wash the outside of the penis until their foreskin can be retracted back, which is sometime between ages 3 and 12. Then the penis can be cleaned by simply pulling back the foreskin and washing the penis head during your regular bath or shower.

Most doctors recommend against routine infant circumcision. Circumcision, like all surgeries, has risks of adverse medical events including surgical error, prolonged bleeding, infection, and pain. A permanent decrease in penile sensitivity and sexual pleasure is also common since circumcision removes the foreskin, which protects the sensitive glans (head) of the penis.

Circumcision was once routine in the United States, but this trend has reversed as parents and doctors are increasingly deciding against infant circumcision. In 1980 over 80% of newborns in the United States were circumcised while in 2007 less than 40% of infants were circumcised.

Circumcision is a religious rite that was first carried out by the Jew's. from there it was also brought forward by the Muslims and some of the Christian's. It became popular in the united states when it was claimed that it would reduce the habit of masturbation in boys, in a time when this practice was frowned upon by religious wowsers.

There are no disadvantages in having an intact penis. the foreskin itself is an erogenous centre with many thousands of pleasure giving nerves, it protects the glans penis from drying out and becoming desensitised. it helps in the lubrication of the penis and is a definite boon in both masturbation and sexual intercourse. Circumcision is increasingly being referred to as MGM Male genital mutilation.

If circumcision is done to an infant the long term effects would depend on the severity of the procedure. the post traumatic stress caused by the pain of the procedure. However in a text bok case where there seems to be no particular problem. the long term effect would includethe desensitising of the glans due to caritanisation. the los of major eric nerv eends permanently with the removal of the foreskin. A tendency to have problems with the woman who is having sex with a circumcised man to lack enough lubrication during sex. inabilty to reach orgasm. and premature ejaculation.
