What are the advantages and disadvantages of light energy?
It is bad, it is worse, it is worst, and sometimes it is horrble.
some advantages are: . it is clean . very easy to move to one curcuit to the other . transmitted long distances . it is safe to use, when precautions are taken :):):):):):…):):):):):):):P
The advantages would be that chemical energy doesn't pollute, andit stores many things. The disadvantages would be pollution caused by the burning of fuelcells.
The advantages of kinetic energy is its abundant energy source andit can be created easily. However, its chief disadvantage is itsdifficulty to be controlled making it an unpr…edictable energy.
What are the advantages and disadvantages of wave energy
i do not know hahaha:) :D
Good things about radiant energy is that it gives off heat, andalso can be used as a light source. It isn't however useful inproducing large amounts of energy.
1. Advantages of renewable energy: The main advantage is the fact that they are renewable. Wewill never run out of sources of renewable energy (at least in ourlifetimes,… as long as humans will exist) . solar energy - the sun will always be there, and inabundance - the amount of solar energy intercepted by the Earthevery minute is greater than the amount of energy the world uses infossil fuels each year. . wind energy - the wind will always exist - The energy inthe winds that blow across the United States each year couldproduce more than 16 billion GJ of electricity - more than one andone-half times the electricity consumed in the United States in2000. . tidal energy - the moon which provides the forces thatcauses the tides will always be there . hydroelectric energy - unless there is a drastic changein rain patterns, it will always be there On the other hand, non-renewable resources such as fossil fuels arefinite - our resources of them will run out eventually. A second advantage is renewable resources are seen as being'green', or environmentally friendly. This is because they do notemit carbon dioxide (the biggest contributor to global warming)into the atmosphere. Non-renewable resources such as petroleum release CO2 into theenvironment when they are combusted for energy. Other renewablessuch as biofuels are carbon neutral - producing them consumes aboutas much CO2 as using them produces. 2. Disadvantages of renewable energy Renewable energy is energy derived from sources that willnot run out . Some of the present disadvantages are: . solar -- panels are expensive. Governments are not allwilling to buy home generated electricity. Not all climates aresuitable for solar panels. . wind -- turbines are expensive. Wind doesn't blow allthe time, so they have to be part of a larger plan. . waves -- different technologies are being tried aroundthe world. Scientists are still waiting for the killer product. . tides -- barrages (dams) across river mouths areexpensive to build and disrupt shipping. Smaller turbines arecheaper and easier to install. . rivers -- Dams are expensive to build and disrupt theenvironment. Smaller turbines are cheaper and easier toinstall. . geothermal -- Difficult to drill two or three kilometersdown into the earth. . biofuel -- Often uses crop lands and crops (like corn)to produce the bio-alcohol. This means that more land has to becleared to grow crops, or there is not enough food, or that foodbecomes more expensive.
Advantages of nuclear energy is that its environmentally friendly, no carbon emission and the disadvantages is that it is quiet dangerous because it emits radioactive particle…s which very hazardous and has different kinda of effects and symptoms. Not to mention radioactive waste that needs to be contained for very long periods.
Gravitational energy is made through falling objects and is verycost efficant. sadly the falling objects sometimes cause hugedamages
Advantages: By using less electricity, they help the environment. They are also cheaper in the long term. Disadvantages: The short-term investment is larger; they are more e…xpensive than the incandescent lights. This is more than compensated by the savings in electric energy, but you may be unlucky to have several bad bulbs; or somebody may steal them, especially outdoors. Also, for some very specific applications, the heat generated by the old-fashioned incandescent light bulbs is actually needed.
Advantages : Preserves our natural resources, reduces pollution, increases available energy etc. Disadvantages: Solar energy has not been developed enough to be used on a… large scale, it is expansive.
it is environment friendly. But, the solar cells need service andrepair time to time
Anything that moves, rotates, or has parts that move or rotate usesmechanical energy. This includes hammers, screwdrivers, cars, trucks, planes. When the mechanical energy is c…ontrolled or itseffect predictable, it can be useful and advantageous to have. Whenuncontrolled such as a car without out brakes or crashing intosomething, it can be harmful and disadvantageous to have.
