No. Saladin was Moslem.
He had his supporters. Saladin, whose actual name was Yusef ibn Ayyub, which in English would be Joe Jobson, was a Kurd who was nontheless Sultan of Egypt, having seized that office on the death of his predecessor, Nuradin. One doesn't come into that kind of political power from those circumstances without making some enemies. By contrast, his famous opponent, Richard the Lionheart, who could claim his throne as the result of his "royal blood," was wildly popular with the English, even though he rarely visited his kingdom and was a massive drain on its economy. However, most Muslims actually supported Saladin. He was unpopular with only small groups of Muslims.
Saladin led the Muslims in some of the Crusades.

While some concessions were made to the Crusaders, it was still a victory for Saladin.

There was not a unified leader of the Muslims. The Muslim peoples were split into a number of different groups, and not one collective body. Leaders that were important in the First Crusade from the Muslim side would probably be Kilij Arslan and Danishmend.
