check and/or replace the transmission sensor
Most cars are anywhere between 750-800 rpms
cars idol speed in 640 rpms
The transmission computer is only found in automatic cars because it controls that which in a manual car the driver controls, the shifting. The transmission computer is what generally makes a car automatic because it changes gears automatically without any effort from the driver (except of course the gas & brake).
sends an electrical signal to the transmission to tell it to shift gears. It also sends that info to the cars computer.
Ummm yeah! They are usually cheaper than cars with an automatic transmission
a there only cars ok!
In most modern cars, transmission shift is controlled by the computer. If the transmission won't shift, you most probably have a bad shift solenoid or solenoid circuit problem. You could also have a bad gear selector switch. Following that, check the computer and its related sensors. See the manufacturer's documentation for specifics.
I dont think manual transmission cars use transmission fluid.

The transmission range sensor tells the ecm (electronic control module - the cars computer) which shift position the shifter is in (ie= PARK, REVERSE, NEUTRAL, DRIVE, 3, 2, 1).
The Computer Chips first used in cars were in 1981, was in the carburetor. General Motors and Corvettes were the first pioneers in placing computer chips in cars.
