A good King has to be loyal to his people and not be afraid of battle, he has to drive people on and command respect!
A king is not a king if he isn't loyal and he doesn't know what is best for his people, he must not be selfish and always- ALWAYS love and nourish his kingdom and he must have an heir to the thrown in case something unfortunate happens.

She possesses little power but the connections she made with her (dead) husband's court and through her reigning child. The wife of a King is usually a Queen Consort, meaning that she has no legal authority or sovereignty in the kingdom (eg. the wives of Henry VIII). A Queen Regnant, however, is a female monarch who reigns over a kingdom in her own right (eg. Elizabeth I, Elizabeth II, Victoria, etc). Another, and quite interesting, case of a queen regnant is with co-rulers, such as William and Mary of Orange. In this situation sovereignty is shared simultaneously/jointly by both a king and a queen.
