There are no modern Zeppelins. -There are 'blimps' which are different construction. Zeppelins and many other airships of the 1920' s to 40's were 'dirigibles', meaning they had metal frames with a fabric covering and gas bags inside.

Blimps, such as those used during WW2 and even now as the Goodyear blimps are a rubberised fabric gasbag with no solid internal frame. They all use helium gas now.

The Zeppelin NT (since 1997) is not a ‘blimp’. It has a frame made of aluminium and carbon. Of course, it uses helium.

Hydrogen.

The Germans would have prefered to use Helium for safety, but at the time its only known source was the Texas and Oklahoma oil fields in the US. The US considered Helium a strategic resource and refused to sell it to other countries (especially not Nazi Germany).

Hydrogen, which is very highly inflammable. They were prone to burn completely, almost instantaneously, like the Hindenburg.

The US had a monopoly on helium, which is inert and will not burn, but would not sell Germany any.

The Zeppelin company is still in business, and able to get helium today. Last I heard they were building small airships for tourist cruises over the Rhine. The technology and skills needed to build huge, rigid-frame airships as lost was the workers scattered, got old, died. But they ought to make a come back. A means of air travel which will not crash and burn and kill everybody on board just because the engines stop would be my preferred means of travel, even if it is a lot slower. Weather forecasting, with satellites, would allow avoiding the other airship-killer - unanticipated violent storms.

How do you drain the fuel tank in a Mazda MX6?

Its gas, old gas can be used. It's a pain to drop the tank to remove gas and I wouldn't recommend draining it via running the fuel pump and flowing it into a can either, too dangerous. If you absolutely must pump out the gas, get a siphon pump and pump it out the fuel neck.

What is being done to reduce the amount of gas released from old refrigerators?

To dispose of the dangerous components in old refrigerators (HFC'S AND CFC'S) which rotted away the Ozone layer, the dangerous parts are either prior to shredding or recycling.

The modern ones are very efficient and clean. The old ones need to go to the dump and can be dangerous.

CFCs, or chlorofluorocarbons, which is the gas used in old refrigerators.

Is a bb gun dangerous for a 12 year old?

a bb or airsoft gun is never dangerous until it is used. then it is determined to be dangerous or not depending on the person! An average 12 year old will probably be encouraged by his/her friends to get one but if he understands that they can be dangerous if used incorrectly and that it is a big responsibility then im sure he will be fine. If you are a parent it is natural to be nervous about agreeing but a small pistol wont be too bad as long as s/he realises not to be silly.Airsoft guns are much safer as they are designed for open combat! BB Guns are NOT! However, when purchasing one u WILLbe told if it is a BBGun. Many guns come under the name of a BB Gun when in actual fact it is an airsoftbut overall a regular spring functioning pistol is quick simple, fun and safe for a 12 year old, especially with safety locks and trigger locks. Please note: DO NOT GET THEM ONE IF THEY ARE ASKING FOR A GAS GUN! GAS OR C02 GUNS ARE MUCH, MUCH MORE POWERFUL AND IF SHOT AT WITHOUT PROPER GUARDING WILL CERTAINLY RESULT IN A LARGE HOSPITAL BILL! DONT GET GAS GUNS EVEN IF THEYRE UST PISTOLS!

Where would you look for a gas leak for natural gas and propane to dissipate?

gas lines going to the furnice, gas train, gas valve, all by burners, but to check corectly you need a lighter (not recommended but still used by old school guys) or a gas detector.

How you can get water element?

The chemical compound Water is made of two elements: Hydrogen and Oxygen. To get water you would need to perform a highly explosive chemical reaction. An example of this dangerous reaction occured with old style zeppelins that were filled with Hydrogen. So, the chemical formula of water is H2O and the reaction between Hydrogen and Oxygen is:Hydrogen + Oxygen --> Hydrogen OxideDo not attempt this reaction.
